Software development organizations must be on a lot of good things, but they should not be more on the all-rounder. In our work with software vendors and software departments of large enterprises, we have found what they are doing better when they focus on the opportunities that are crucial for their specific products and customers. To help software development organizations to identify where they are and where you want Excel to improve, we developed a set tools, using surveys, interviews, post-mortem assessments and comparisons made to measure their abilities in ten key areas. One of the first important works carried out by high-tech made assumed the Pompidou Center in Paris (1977), built by Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano.
